Prep
Start by brushing out your suit, this helps loosen up any debris hidden in the fur, as well as giving the suit a nice detangling.
Fill your bissell with a detergent and water mixture. (There should be guides on the side of the clean water tank of the bissell)
Grab some paper towels and ball them up into the eye sockets to keep the painted eyes from getting any water damage. Replace paper towel throughout cleaning as necessary.
Bisselling a Head
Clean the entire suit head especially the inside by spraying the detergent water mix onto the head and sucking up the water in sections. The head may need multiple passes to fully clean. Afterwards, do a pass with only water in the bissell to fully remove the soap from the suit head.
Drying a Head
You can either air dry a head, or use a low heat hair dryer or fan to speed up the process. Make sure the now wet suit head’s inner lining gets access to air to fully dry. Never hold a heated drying device too close to the fur, as the faux fur is made of plastic and can melt. When the suit is drying, take your slicker brush upside down and brush in normal strokes downwards. This keeps from pulling out the fur while it is still damp.
